Volunteer at West Lake

Would you like to get involved with all the great things going on at West Lake Elementary School? Volunteers make a world of difference in supplementing the learning facilitated by the teachers and staff at West Lake Elementary School.

Your PTA could not accomplish anything without faithful volunteers. There are so many ways you can volunteer at your child's school. Parent volunteers are needed during the school day, as well as before and after school hours. Consider how you can volunteer with the PTA at West Lake Elementary.

To volunteer, you may contact one of the coordinators under the Volunteer Opportunities section below, or complete the volunteer sign-up form (PDF format) and send it to school with your child.

Volunteer Opportunities

Book Fair

The Media Staff uses all proceeds from the Book Fair to purchase new books for the school library. All books purchased have a label (placed inside the front cover) thanking the PTA volunteers for their work and support. Proceeds from the Book Fair have purchased over 1200 new books and a new set of World Book Encyclopedias in the past two years. The Media Staff organizes, advertises, purchases and processes the Book Fair and the books, but the West Lake Elementary PTA volunteers complement their work to make the event a success! Loads of volunteers are needed to make the Book Fair a success. Whether you prefer stocking merchandise, assisting young shoppers or collecting money for purchases, volunteer to help this fun and very worthwhile cause. Contact: ptabookfair@wlepta.org
