Now celebrating 25 years, Peace Day is a William Lehman Elementary tradition that reinforces our Powerful Peaceful beliefs and actions. We encourage peace and compassion for all. The students enjoy the parade, music and peaceful company.

This is brought to all by our counselor Mrs. Garcia who pours her heart into the program to continue the tradition that was started years ago at our school. This tradition continues as strong and as close to our heart as the day it started with Mr. Leventhal, the counselor for William Lehman Elementary prior to Mrs. Garcia joining us. We are so happy to have him as our special guest every year and especially this year as we mark our 25th anniversary. This tradition is held once a year, but the philosophy is maintained front and center by Mrs. Cruz our principal. It's built into her most popular quote said daily,

"Have a powerful, peaceful day."
